9:00 am - 9:50 am
Lisa Heaton, McKenzie Brittain, Kimberly McFall, Maureen Gildein
Authentic learning and assessment activities encourage students to explore real-world topics and produce real-world products. These activities often connect to project-based learning with opportunities for students to research and demonstrate what they know using a variety of technologies. This session is designed for teachers and teacher educators interested in encouraging authentic learning, peer collaboration, decision making, and creative technology use. Presenters will share examples used in their own classrooms that can be easily adapted across content areas and grade levels.
Audience: Higher Education and K-12
