The path to on-time completion and post-academic success requires harmony amongst audit, planning, and credential discovery processes. Welcome to Ellucian Smart Plan and Ellucian Award.
Together, these solutions drive student achievement, streamline academic planning and advising.
You can think of Smart Plan as the Google Maps for academic planning. Google Maps knows your location, your destination, and your navigation settings. It uses these inputs to generate your optimal route and calibrate for any traffic changes. Smart Plan does the same thing. Your location is academic history, your destination is completion, and your optimal route factors program requirements, requisites, schedules, etc.
Award analyzes each student’s completed courses and compares them to all available degree/credential requirements, declared or not. The data empowers institutions to identify and propel near completers and stop-outs, offering targeted support and resources to help them successfully reach their academic goals. This proactive approach enhances student motivation and retention—as well as institutional performance-based funding, where applicable.
