Description

This would be a session designed as an open conversation on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It would include some discussion the history of AI and early concepts that supported it. The discussion would cover topics related to how we use AI and how integrated it is in our daily lives. We would talk about how AI is used in our classrooms. Time would also be given to address some of the ethical concerns regarding AI, and thoughts about incorporating AI into the curriculum for enhanced learning opportunities for learners.

I spent over 20 years in the business sector as management. During this time, I completed my MBA and taught business courses as an adjunct professor. While my career was rewarding, I discovered a passion for teaching that led me to pursue my doctorate and resulted in a career shift to education. I now have nearly 20 years in higher ed and AI is a fascinating concept that intersects with my interest in education, technology, and my professional background.
