Dr. Merilee Madera is the Director of WLU's Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education. As Director, she works with faculty on the development of online courses and programs as well as the integration of various educational technologies including artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT into both online and classroom-based teaching. Currently, she is leading the university's implementation of a new learning management system, Canvas.
